CS Professional Executive Foundation

The study of CS ( Company Secretary) is not as simple as the word sounds. This is a post graduation professional Course. This is considered as the Esteemed Profession in the Society. The CS Course has three levels CS Foundation, CS Executive Programme, CS Professional Programme. With every level the complexity of the course increases. Students need to study really hard for cracking the CS exams. There is lot of competition and pressure among the students as they consider it to be very  tough. For doing CS students attend coaching classes from where they receive different type of study material etc. But some where their hard work could not reach up to that level where it is required. CS is an important professional course in the field of commerce. CS Executive is the intermediate level of the Company Secretary course. The candidates who have passed the CS Foundation course can apply for the CS-Executive. But it is not compulsory to take the CS Foundation exam, a candidate who has done graduation, post graduation, CA, CWA can directly appear for the CS Executive level. The course of CS Executive is divided under two modules. In each module there are three papers. The study material for CS Executive is provided by the ICSI. and students should give prioirity to this study material only especially for the theory papers. After completing the preparations from the study material provided by the ICSI students should than prepare with the help of the scanners. In CS the question paper is more based on the previously years’ papers so, the students should practice with the previous years’ questions too to gain the enough confidence. The ICSI is the only institute in India which regulates the profession of company secretaries. The institute also provides membership to the candidates. For getting the membership the candidates are required to clear the exams of CS. After getting the membership the candidate is designated as Company Secretary. The designation of CS is very important for a company. The CS takes care of the secretarial matters of a company. The exams of CS are conducted in the months of June and December. The course of CS is divided in three levels i.e. CS Foundation, CS Executive and CS Professional. The syllabuses for all the three levels are designed by the institute in a way as to impart each and every aspect of the companies from legal and financial matters to the key role played by different members in a company. The CS professional is the final level of the CS course. The minimum course duration is ten months for this course. The students after passing the CS Executive exams can appear for the CS Professional course. The exams are conducted in the months of June and December. All the details regarding the syllabus, exams, schedule of the examination etc. are decided by the ICSI. In the CS Professional there are eight papers under four modules. Each module has two papers. The exams of CS Professional are held in the month of June and December every year. This is the final level of the course. Any student who is pursuing graduation or post graduation can take the exams of CS Professional. To appear for the exams of CS Professional it is necessary to pass both the groups of CS Executive. After this the students may register for the CS Professional programme. At the CS professional level there are eight papers under four modules. Each module has two papers. All the papers are of 100 marks. To pass the paper the student is required to get a minimum of 40 marks and aggregate of 50% in a module.

To become CS, every student is required to pass the exams of CS Professional.
