IPCC COURSE DETAILS

The IPCC Course Details or the Integrate Professional Competence Course. This is the second and important level for doing the professional course of Chartered Accountancy. It is an important level for the CA students as this level is considered to provide students the working knowledge. However, there are seven papers in IPCC, and the student has to take this paper in two groups. The first group consists of four papers and the second group has three papers. In addition to this a three years of practical training called articleship and a 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT) is also necessary before taking articleship. All the papers consist of 100 marks and a minimum of 40 marks and an aggregate of 50% are necessary to qualify a group. The papers under group I are Accounting, Law, Ethics & Communication, Cost Accounting & Financial Management and Taxation. The papers under group II are Advanced Accounting, Auditing & Assurance and Information Technology & Strategic Management. The students after the completion of graduation or after qualifying CA CPT Exam can directly register for the CA IPCC.  The papers of CA IPCC come under subjective pattern. And the exams are held in the months of May and November.
