CA IPCC is the intermediate level of CA. it is sometimes called as CA Inter. This level is important because in this level the students are provided the theoretical as well as the practical knowledge of three years. CA IPCC Question Papers for IPCC exams are conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The IPCC exams are subjective papers. The study material is provided by the institute to the students. There are a total of seven papers divided in two groups. First group has four papers and second group has three papers.  The students have the choice to appear in any of the one group or both the group at one time. After passing in at least one group the student is entitled for the articleship. The articleship is the practical training mandatory for the students so that they get full exposure in the actual field of accounting and auditing. The papers are not very easy so efforts are needed to be put. For the students of CA IPCC, there are different private coaching institutes are available where they can study. The special doubt sessions and self assessment tests are organized to check the level of preparations. Self study is also important for the students therefore Video classes, scanners having previous year’s question papers and DVDs, Mock Test Papers etc. are available through which student can analyze his preparations by himself. For getting success it is necessary to have a strong determination. Therefore, it does not matter how many hours in a day you study but it matters that how much syllabus you cover and how you understand the concepts.

The chartered accountant exams are held twice a year. The exams are taken for all the levels of CA i.e.CA CPT, CA IPCC, CA FINAL. The exam of CA CPT is taken in the month of June and December on any Sunday. And CA IPCC & CA FINAL exams are held in the month of MAY and November. The exam of CA CPT is in the form of objective type questions having four options and student is required to select the most appropriate answer. There is also negative marking for wrong answer.

The exams for CA IPCC and CA FINALS are in the form of subjective questions. For appearing in CA CPT Exam a student is required to pass the 12th class examination conducted by examination body i.e. recognized by the central government or equivalent. Also there is no minimum pass percentage required for 12th pass student. However, graduate students are exempted to appear for the CA CPT as they can directly enroll for CA IPCC. For CA IPCC it is necessary either to pass CA CPT or complete graduation at the time of registering for CA IPCC. For CA FINAL it is necessary to pass the CA IPCC exams and to complete a minimum period of of articleship under a practicing Chartered Accountant. The registration can be easily done online on the website of ICAI. The dates for the registration and exams are displayed on the website in time. The exam dates are declared by the education department of the ICAI.

Students can make their preparation stronger by enrolling themselves for any Mock Tests, which will help them to improve their mistakes and have a feedback on their answering pattern once they get their papers evaluated.

For being a CA, student needs to enroll with ICAI for doing the course. The course can be covered after clearing three levels of CA i.e. CA CPT, CA IPCC, CA FINAL. CA CPT is the first and important level as it is the entrance level for taking admission in CA. IPCC is Integrated Professional Competence Course.

CA IPCC is the second level of CA. It is also called as the intermediate level also. This is an important level as at this level a CA student is provided practical and theoretical knowledge as well. At this level a student is required to study seven subjects in two groups. In the first group there are four papers:

Law, Ethics & Communication

Cost Accounting & Financial Management

The second group comprises of three papers of:

Advanced Accounting

Auditing & Assurance

An IPCC student is required to have a working and practical knowledge on these subjects. That’s why to qualify the exams of CA IPCC three years of practical knowledge called articleship under a practicing CA is required. For this articleship a student is provided stipend per month by the Institute for the work done by him. This is also a very new and creative experience for the students to work and learn the same things which they have just studied in the books only.  Students work in the field of accounting, auditing, taxation etc. which boosts their confidence and make them more focused. The articleship also adds the professional ethics in the students.

CA IPCC is the second level for doing CA after clearing the CA CPT Exam. In CA IPCC there are two groups having four and three subjects respectively in Group-I and Group-II. CA IPCC is an important level because in this level a student is required to go through a three years’ articleship which is a training taken by the students under a practicing Chartered Accountant in related fields of Accountancy. The articleship is very important for doing CA because it helps the student understand the practical problems. It increases their practical experience which they may not understand by simply reading the books or the theory. For the students who are undergoing the CA Articleship programme are provided stipend by the firm as defined by the Institute (ICAI). A student can take the exams of any or both of the group at a time. However, it is necessary to get passed in all the subjects. The pass percentage of students all over India generally lies between 15 to 30 percent. But one should not think over this data again and again and understand if you are putting your efforts accurately than you can also be the part of the students getting success.

By studying regularly and by registering for Mock Tests  the CA IPCC Exam Results can be improved to great extent and thus the student will take one more step ahead in becoming a CA.

After clearing the CA IPCC Course the student  gets admitted to the CA FINAL Course, which is the last level to clear in becoming a Chartered Accountant.
